Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew) It's a go-to stew in Korean homes. Growing up in Korea, we had a lot of meals just with kimchi jjigae and a bowl of rice. Kimchi-jjigae (김치찌개) or kimchi stew is a jjigae, or stew-like Korean dish, made with kimchi and other ingredients, such as pork or seafood, scallions, onions, and diced tofu.

Bahan Membuat Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew)

  1. You need 250 gr of Daging sapi.
  2. It's 250 gram of Kimchi.
  3. It's 100 ml of Kimchi Juice (Air sari kimchi).
  4. Prepare 1 sdm of Gochujang (Pasta Cabai).
  5. You need 2 sdm of Gochugaru (Bubuk Cabai).
  6. It's 250 ml of Air.
  7. Prepare 1 sdm of Minyak Wijen.
  8. Prepare Sesuai selera of Tahu putih.
  9. You need 1 butir of Telur.
  10. It's Secukupnya of Daun bawang.

Langkah Memasak Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew)

  1. Potong kimchi menjadi bagian kecil, lalu masukkan ke dalam panci (disini saya menggunakan panci biasa, bukan panci keramik khas Korea).
  2. Masukkan daging, gochujang, gochugaru, kimchi juice, lalu air hingga menutupi masakan (jangan terlalu banyak, cukup hingga menutupi saja).
  3. Masukkan minyak wijen, aduk rata lalu tutup panci. Tunggu hingga kurang lebih 20 menit.
  4. Buka tutup panci lalu masukkan tahu dan telur. Jangan diaduk. Setelah masukkan telur lalu tutup kembali panci.
  5. Setelah 10 menit cek kembali masakan anda, kuah akan mengental dan berkurang. Kimchi juga menjadi layu dan empuk. Jika ingin daging lebih empuk anda bisa menunggunya hingga 10 menit lagi.
  6. Masukkan ke dalam mangkuk lalu taburi daun bawang. Sajikan bersama nasi hangat.
